February 9, 2007

Well the new year is here...actually it's been here for a while, but I'm pretty behind these days...and I have decided that I should post a blog to let everyone in the families know what is going on at pretty much any given time.

We are still living in the apartment on the North/Central/West side of San Antonio. Brockton and Sadie LOVE their backyard and are out there playing in it right now.

They were both at the vet this week and things are good, except for Sadie who has been throwing up quite frequently. Dr Hubenak gave us some living bacteria to sprinkle on her food that should add the bacteria she's lacking into her intestinal tract...oh wonderful. He also gave us some anti vomiting medicine. Brockton was perfect at the vet, and a very concerned older brother (he kept jumping up on the table to see what they were doing to poor Sadie!)

John is training for his upcoming MMA fights. He was in a Muay Thai smoker and some grappling tournaments, but this is his first Mixed Martial Arts fight. He's been training very hard, and not eating anything good. His fights are February 17th here in San Antonio, and then March 2nd in Waco, TX.

Here's a pic of him with some of the guys from his gym.

He's still working as an electrician, but is considering getting a security guard position at West because it's so close to the house. His truck has been giving him some problems, so that would make his life easier.

As for me, I'm out of the Army and working full time at Mercedes. Where I was recently told I am now "head cashier", which really doesn't mean anything, except that I get yelled at more. I'm in night school 4 nights a week. I also start my weekend waitressing job at Gringo's Mexican Kitchen tomorrow morning at 9 (well it's really just training for the first 4-5 days).

Other then that we are all doing great. Kathleen (John's sister) is going to be here this weekend, and we are gonna check out the Riverwalk and Rudy's Barbecue and probably a few other places. I'll post some pictures once we take them!!

Hi Holly and John,

This is a cool idea!

Pardon my ignorance, but which one is John in the photo?

Brockton takes care of Sadie just like our Mr. Toes looks out for Millie. Very very protective.

Love ya,
Aunt Judy
